  • 1 package SUTTON & DODGE® Beef Chuck Tender Steak
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons dry sherry
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange peel
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon five-spice powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil


  1. Buy 1 (1- to 1 1/4-lb) package Sutton & Dodge Beef Chuck Mock Tender Steak.

  2. In resealable plastic bag, combine orange juice, soy sauce, sherry, orange peel, garlic, five-spice powder and oil. Add steaks, turning to coat with marinade. Seal bag; refrigerate, turning occasionally, 2 to 4 hours.

  3. Prepare grill for direct high heat, positioning gratek 5 to 6 inches from heat source.

  4. Remove steaks from marinade; discard marinade. Lightly oil grill grate. Cover; grill steaks, turning once, 6 to 8 minutes for medium-rare doneness (140°F. to 150°F.). Cover; let stand 5 minutes before serving.
